The hydro park Windmills near Sofia

The hydro park Watermills is a recently built complex with pools, parks and different attractions and is located approximately at 20 km away from the Sofia's city center (to the east, near the village of Gorna Malina).


If you would like to spend a day outside of Sofia and its busy streets, visiting the park could be an excellent idea and especially during the summer days when you can enjoy various water attractions. There are also excellent possibilities and different facilities to have a picnic with friends, to walk on the different paths in the park or just sit near the lake and relax.


Please note that the access to the park even for a walk is paid and the entrance fee depends on the day of the week (with being more expensive during the weekends) and also note that the access to the park with dogs is not allowed.
